Our Commitment to Safety
GNB strives to attain a ‘zero’ incident workplace at all our worksites. All employees are H2S and First Aid Level 1 certified. We consistently provide safety training for our team, and have systems and processes in place to ensure proper execution.
Our First Aid team provides worksites with a Primary Care Paramedic, and Level 3 Ambulance and Certified Attendants if needed.
GNB is safety certified across all areas of our business.

ComplyWorks is a management solution that provides companies with preventative controls to mitigate operational risk, helping GNB streamline the supply chain process and manage internal training.
WorkSafeBC
WorkSafeBC is a statutory agency offering health and safety programs, training and certification across BC. GNB is WorkSafeBC certified: #555790.
COR-Certified
The Certificate of Recognition (COR) program recognizes employers who go beyond legal requirements to proactively improve workplace safety. Great Northern Bridgeworks is a COR-Certified employer.
BC Forest Safety – SAFE Company Certified
SAFE is administered by the BC Forest Safety Council (BCFSC), assisting organizations in improving safety performance to at least a minimum industry standard using recognized audit protocols.
BC Construction Safety Alliance (BCCSA)
BCCSA is a non-profit organization providing employers with safety programs, training, consultation services and resources to help improve workplace safety in BC.
ISNetworld
ISNetworld is a platform offering health, safety, environmental, compliance and training services — used by GNB to evaluate workplace safety compliance and manage internal processes.
ITSL Hoist/Crane/Rigging Certified
International Training Services Ltd. offers technical and safety training in construction, equipment operation and rigging. GNB is certified in Hoisting & Rigging and Crane Operating.
