— Project Overview
This project presented unique challenges due to it’s extremely remote nature. The site was located approximately 4 hours north of Fort Nelson, BC. Our team was tasked with the removal, disposal, and backfill of over 20,000m 3 of contaminated soil. All contaminated material was screened to remove specific grades of rock material to assist in the backfilling efforts. GNB was also charged with constructing the bio cell to store contaminated material. This specific task requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure proper bio cell integrity. Our team delivered our project requirements on time and on budget.
